Bring on NFL Week 2

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will play today. VSiN’s Dave Tuley reports that the Vikings are -2.5 -120 MGM sports books and -3 EVEN at the Las Vegas SuperBook with Boyd Gaming in between at -3 -110.

Brent is going to have a hard time living up to his 5-0 record last week, but so far, so good as Canelo Alvarez defeated Gennady Golovkin in a majority decision here in Las Vegas. In case you missed it, here’s his weekend betting menu.

Don’t forget we’ll have Brent’s call of the Raiders-Broncos game at 1:20 p.m. Pacific on SiriusXM 204. (The Green Zone will be live on VSiN.com, the VSiN app and fuboTV.)

For VSiN all-access subscribers only: Matt Youmans has his NFL forecast.

And our NASCAR handicapper Jeff Cogliandro expects a hot start to the playoff season here in Las Vegas.

It was a tough day for the Big Ten as Wisconsin, Maryland, Nebraska and Northwestern all lost as double-digit favorites at home — and a tough day for "Duffel Bag Boy."
