Book report . . .

Covers’ Patrick Everson, who reported from around town for last night’s BetCast, uncovered these golden nuggets:

One MGM patron bet $445K on Clemson over four wagers — $120K at +6 (-120), $125K +6 (-125). $100K moneyline +160. $100K first half +3.

The MGM had a $220K moneyline bet on Alabama on Monday. William Hill had a $220K play on Alabama -5 and a $200K moneyline wager on Clemson at +190.

The Westgate SuperBook had well into 7 figures in total action on the title game — and close to six figures with just in-game action.

(Not to ignore the NFL: the MGM got a $350K Saints moneyline bet at -350, to win $100K, and a $100K Eagles moneyline bet at +320, to win $320K.)
