Brown Headed To Raiders . . .

Ian Rapoport reported late Saturday: The Antonio Brown saga is finally nearing a close. Sources say the Steelers are dealing AB to the Raiders in exchange for a third-round pick and a fifth-round pick in the 2019 draft. Brown will also get a reworked contract that makes him the NFL’s highest paid WR.

Patrick Everson of Covers: Per MGM’s Scott Shelton, Oakland’s Super Bowl futures odds moved from 80/1 to 60/1. “Based on fact we are already significant loser to Raiders in future market.” At Caesars, the Raiders moved from 75/1 to 50/1.

  • Auburn upsets No. 5 Tennessee 84-80: Tigers were 2.5-point home underdogs & +130 on money line (went over betting total of 147.5).
  • Seton Hall knocks off No. 23 Villanova 79-75: Pirates did it as 3.5-point home underdogs & +150 on money line.
  • No. 9 Michigan St. beat No. 7 Michigan 75-63 It wasn’t as upset as the Spartans were 3.5-point home favorites (went over 136.5).
  • Georgetown upset No. 16 Marquette 86-84: Hoyas were 9-point road underdogs & +375 on ML; No. 6 Kentucky (-10.5), No. 8 Texas Tech (-2.5), No 11 Purdue (-7.5), No. 13 Kansas (-8) all won, though UK didn’t cover & KU pushed vs. close).

NBA: favorites 6-0 SU on but only 3-3 ATS as Kings (-6) vs. Knicks, Celtics (-7.5) vs. Lakers & Bucks (-12) vs. Hornets won and covered; however, Nets (-4.5) vs. Hawks, Timberwolves (-7) vs. Wizards & Blazers (-12) vs. Suns did not; Overs 4-2.

NHL: favorites 9-3 SU Saturday; Unders 7-4-1 including Blackhawks 1st Under in 17 games; 1st Period Overs 8-4 w/ #FollowtheMoney6 Over teams going 4-1 as Sharks, Lightning, Devils & Blackhawks went Over but Penguins-Blue Jackets (H2H FTM6) stayed Under.

San Diego beat Salt Lake 27-25 in the AAF on FG as time expires: Salt Lake covered as 5.5-point road underdog (flew Over total of 35.5); faves/dogs split 1-1 ATS on Saturday & now 10-8 ATS overall; Overs 2-0 Saturday, after 4-12 start, so Unders still lead 12-6. Orlando routs Birmingham 31-14 in early game. Orlando covered as 4-point road favorite.
