Dave Tuley’s ATS report

  • Yankees beat Nationals 4-1 in rain-shortened MLB season-opener (official as they played 5 full innings). Yankees were -170 road favorites (NYY also cashes as 1st 5 inning fave and goes Over 3.5 for 1st 5); game Over/Under and Run Line wagers are refunds.
  • Dodgers pull away to rout Giants 8-1 in MLB opening-day nightcap. Dodgers closed as -290 home favorites after Clayton Kershaw was scratched and replaced by Dustin May (stayed Under closing total of 9.5 runs).
  • Denny Hamlin won Super Start Batteries 400 NASCAR Cup race for his 5th victory of year. He was around the 3rd or 4th betting choice at most Las Vegas sportsbooks around 8-1 (I got him at 10-1 earlier Thursday at the Westgate SuperBook.)
